Quick Facts
- Origin
- De novo optimized 16-amino-acid peptide derived from a spider venom-gland transcriptomic lead
- Category
- Antimicrobial Peptides
Mechanisms
- MICs were measured in three independent experiments across one reference and three multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains
- biofilm crystal-violet assays used three biological replicates with six technical replicates per condition
- fibroblast migration, cytocompatibility, hemolysis, protein and inhibitor experiments were reported with assay-specific controls and triplicate biological replication
- membrane depolarization and permeability signals
